Scott T. Schaeffer, D.C., C.S.C.S.

Dr. Schaeffer’s extensive knowledge of human anatomy and physiology began in 1991 at California State University, San Luis Obispo where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology. He then went on to begin his graduate studies at Cleveland Chiropractic College Los Angeles (CCC-LA). After 4 years of intense study and internship Dr. Schaeffer was awarded with honors (cum laude) a Doctorate of Chiropractic in 1996. Dr. Schaeffer also holds the highly respected Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification (CSCS). This is of great benefit when helping patients with post-injury strengthening exercises. Dr. Schaeffer stays informed with the most up-to-date research and attends continuing education courses to stay current with the latest and most successful trends in chiropractic.

Dr. Schaeffer is well-versed in a number of chiropractic techniques which gives him the advantage to address each patient more specifically and ultimately more successfully. His treatment approach will usually include physiotherapy to address the muscular components of injury and home care exercises and/or stretches are always encouraged. Dr. Schaeffer’s strong ability to diagnose gives his patient the confidence that their issues are being addressed with the correct treatment protocol.

Dr. Schaeffer’s caring and friendly personality puts his patients at ease, which translates into a more effective chiropractic experience. Dr. Schaeffer always has his patients’ best interest in mind and will make sure that while being cared for in his office, their expectations are met and quite often exceeded.

Lisa M. Cavaliere, D.C.

Dr. Cavaliere’s success as a chiropractic practitioner began in 1990 when she graduated from the State University New York at Albany where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. This gave Dr. Cavaliere a strong foundation in understanding the human body and an advantage as she entered into her graduate work at Cleveland Chiropractic College Los Angeles (CCC-LA). Dr. Cavaliere excelled as one the top students in her graduating class by the time she received her Doctorate of Chiropractic in 1994. Not only did Dr. Cavaliere graduate with high honors (Magna Cum Laude), she was also presented with the prestigious Clinic Excellence Award. In addition to Dr. Cavaliere’s chiropractic endeavors, she is also recognized as a certified Pilates instructor. This is a tremendous advantage when approaching patient care and post-injury exercise. Dr. Cavaliere always stays current with the most recent studies and is present at post-graduate workshops where she incorporates any pertinent information into her practice.

In addition to treating the general population for acute or chronic musculoskeletal disorders, Dr. Cavaliere specializes in the treatment of children and pregnant women. She provides safe, gentle and effective treatment combining either physiotherapy or soft tissue work, chiropractic adjustment and muscle testing for a variety of problems. In some cases she will also employ a form of cranial work in order to manipulate the bones of the cranium. Dr. Cavaliere always welcomes feedback from her patients as they progress through their healing process. She knows that good communication paves the road for a great doctor-patient relationship.
